I work with stoneware and porcelain, and attempt to create objects that reflects the human body and mind.

Organic, slightly asymmetric shapes. Utilitary or purely ornamental.

My aim is to make work that can give us balance, energy and inspiration.

The work is fired in a large wood fired kiln, at approximately 1300 degrees celsius. Flames and ashes creates a natural ash glaze.

This method of firing gives a large range of natural colors where fire touches bare clay.

The process last for about 60 hours. The fire underlines and strengthens the organic shapes and the surface reliefs.
